Here be Dragons
Summary
✶ On the hunt for the eternally elusive Estinien Wyrmblood, Alisaie arrives in Ishgard with Alphinaud, G'raha Tia, and the Warrior of Light. Alisaie suggests that she and G'raha should search the more obvious locations, as they are unfamiliar with the city, while Alphinaud and the Warrior of Light look elsewhere.
✶ The search leads Alisaie and G'raha to the top of the city and the airship landing in the Pillars, where they meet up with the Warrior of Light. Though she is confident, given how Alphinaud goes on about him, that she could spot Estinien in a crowd, she admits she's had no luck finding him. The discussion is rendered somewhat moot when Estinien himself shows up at the landing, having recently met with Scion secretary and treasurer Tataru.
✶ Estinien baffles Alisaie by telling her it's been 'too long', completely fails to notice her bafflement along with many other things about her that are not quite Alphinaud-shaped, and proceeds to take the assumption that he's still dealing with her brother and dig himself a nice big socially awkward hole to store it in. He compliments 'Alphinaud' on how much more rugged 'he' looks, tousles 'his' hair, and comments that 'he' seems rather quieter.
✶ This is Alisaie's cue to UNLEASH THE FURY. She proceeds to berate Estinien for... pretty much all of the above and being unable to remember what Alphinaud looks like.
✶ G'raha adds to Estinien's discomfort by gushing about meeting a 'living legend'. This is Alphinaud's cue to show up and show up he does, finally explaining what's actually going on here while Alisaie visibly bristles. As Alphinaud and Estinien catch up, Alisaie tells the Warrior of Light that Alphinaud was always reluctant to befriend other boys as a child, as he always wanted to be the one in charge - that seems to have changed now, even if he is still rather overfond of the sound of his own voice.
✶ Estinien tells the Scions that he is there to catch an airship to Azys Lla, hoping to speak to the imprisoned dragon Tiamat about the latest incarnation of Bahamut. Alphinaud suggests that they should travel together, which Estinien agrees to, provided Alisaie can bear to share an airship deck with him. Alisaie says he's free to join them but if he calls her 'Alphinaud' again she will throw him overboard. Decidedly underimpressed with her first meeting with the Azure Dragoon, she stalks off to the waiting airship, noting that he's nothing like the person Alphinaud's been gushing about all this time.

✶ On top of all the other clues Estinien was offered that he might not actually have been dealing with Alphinaud, Alisaie is wearing a skirt and possibly a couple of discreet touches of lipgloss. That he still thinks he's dealing with Alphinaud and takes this entirely in his stride seems proof that Estinien is considerably more open-minded than many give him credit for.
✶ It is at least implied the reason Alisaie is so upset is that, in her experience, Alphinaud is rarely if ever mistaken for her.
✶ The player-character Warrior of Light, who accompanies Alisaie, is seen as a humanoid shape made up of blinding white light surrounded by a rainbow corona, of indeterminate age, race and gender. None of their individual features are discernible, and though they can be seen to be speaking their voice cannot be made out.
